Peter The Pushy Puppy

Prey tell did a puppy push a poodle in a puddle?
Isn’t he silly pushy puppies get in trouble
TRUE!

Peter was a puppy, Paula was a poodle
They would walk home everyday, paw-in-paw from schoola
Peter was possessive, Paula a pushover
But things got outta hand one day at Garden Slope park oval

Rover, Red Rover, send Paula right over
Peter pouted as he’d plead but Paula played with ponies
So silly selfish Peter pushed pretty Paula over
Said if I can’t get my way I’ll take my bone and go right home

Prey tell did a puppy push a poodle in a puddle?
Isn’t he silly pushy puppies get in trouble
TRUE!

If the moral of the story is subtle just ya listen
Peter pushed his other pals and had to learn a lesson
They all hoped he’d change in time for Paula’s party
But Peter pouted so they played without him in the garden

Rover, Red Rover, send Paula right over
Peter pouted as he’d plead but Paula just ignored him
So silly selfish Peter pushed pretty Paula over
Said if I can’t get my way I’ll take my bone and go right home

Prey tell did a puppy push a poodle in a puddle?
Isn’t he silly pushy puppies get in trouble
TRUE!

Ippo the Hippo

I’m a tell ya little story about my ol’ pal Luigi and I
‘Bon journo mi tiamo Luigi!’
We wanted to see some animals really see whites of their eyes
So we hopped in the car on our way to the zoo
We couldn’t wait to see giraffes and kangaroo’s

There’s so many things to see it’s really hard to choose
But to tell the truth I came to see the …ippopotamo?

…Ah this animal is very big and round!

When we first arrived I said “I spy” a big ol’ baboon!
And flying over our heads he said “Jefrey look a cock-a-too!”

So glad we hopped in the car on our way to the zoo
We couldn’t wait to see giraffes and kangaroo’s

There’s so many things to see it’s really hard choose
But to tell the truth I came to see the … ippopotamo?

Here I’ll show you!
Okay where is it
I told you its very big and very round
Alright
There it is in thewater
Oh it’s a Hippopotamus!

Cheeky Alligagtor

Chompy was an alligator who was quite a troublemaker
Onomatopoeia push a button in an elevator
Other gators ate tomato’s but he’d look high and low
For little boys and girls to nibble on their toes!

Freddy from the Navy had the look of chips & gravy
When Janie lost her shoe his alibi was shaky
But Chompy was so clunky we always heard him coming
And poor guy was so sluggish we didn’t bother running, saying

Plumpa, plumpa, plumpa, plumpa
Here’s comes the big ol’ mouth o’chompy
He’s an alligator (alligator) in Aviator’s (aviator’s)
Perhaps he misunderstood me when I asked if he like Mashed potato’s
Cheeky alligator!

He’s your local alligator posing as a helpful neighbor
Onomatopoeia pushing thru the local bathers
Riding round the neighborhood the gator roller skater
Scoping out yer pinky toes pretending he’s your waiter!

Don’t get me wrong he’s a great communicator
But then again I’ve never seen behind his aviators
One time I read him War & Peace and asked if he like prose
He said instead I’ll massage your feet, let’s start with your toes!

Plumpa, plumpa, plumpa, plumpa
Here’s comes the big ol’ mouth o’chompy
He’s an alligator (alligator) in Aviator’s (aviator’s)
Perhaps he misunderstood me when I asked if he like Mashed potato’s
Cheeky alligator!

Milk mustache, it’s good for a laugh
I had me some milk and I had me a glass

When you got milk mustache really seems make a splash!
I’m not talking about jumping in the bath

When it’s time to wash it off just jump in the bath

Shake It Off

Fair or Unfair? To care or not to care?
Life’s too short to worry about who said what and where
Cuz things can go wrong and not like you wished
But soon if you learn to shake it off you’ll be a happier kid

For instance, I saw a guy cut in line at the stand
I thought to myself, ‘That’s unfair man!’
But ol’Au-Go-Go didn’t let it ruin his day
I just shook it off cuz here’s what I say

Fair or Unfair? To care or not to care?
Life’s too short to worry about who said what and where
Cuz things can go wrong and not like ya wished
But soon if ya learn to shake it off you’ll be a happier kid

So SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE it off (x3)

Sometimes it rains and you say “Unfair! What a bummer!
I should be outside, runnin’ and jumpin’ in summer!”
But when someone gives you a lemon you can make lemonade
So it can be better no matter the weather if you say…

Fair or Unfair? To care or not to care?
Life’s too short to worry about who said what and where
Cuz things can go wrong and not like ya wished
But soon if ya learn to shake it off you’ll be a happier kid

Let’s SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE it off (x3)

Perry the Pirate

All aboard! All aboard!
The SS Geronimo is taking off!

I’m Perry the Pirate of the Sea it’s true
I only see with one eye you have two
And when I sail the open seas I will do just as I please
Unless of course I come down with the flu!
Pirates like to travel all the world
We are in search of naughty boys & girls
They wash and clean and scrub the decks
And lend a hand after shipwrecks
Even here you have to do your chores

It is my habit to catch captains when they’re napping
And sneak aboard their ship while they don’t know
And it’s my pleasure to find treasure you can’t measure
And tip-toe away and soon I’m out of sight, so..

One time I caught a little boy named Frank
He took over the ship late in the night
He hit a rock we nearly sank, so I made him walk the plank
Now we keep ol’ Frank locked up right tight!

It is my habit to catch captains when they’re napping
And sneak aboard their ship while they don’t know
And it’s my pleasure to find treasure you can’t measure
And Tip-toe away and soon I’m out of sight, so…

Would you like to know what it’s like? YES!
To sneak aboard a ship late in the night
I’ll warn you it’s not for the faint of heart
But here is how a sneaking starts
I tip and toe towards a boy named Joe and
Sneak and slide towards a kid named Clyde
Snoop and scoop a girl named Lupe
Hey they won’t miss Susie Q
Then I set the bait for a girl named Kate
Then I hear someone coming and away I hide
Cuz even though I been a pirate for a long, long time
I still get scared when it’s dark outside!

It is my habit to catch captains when they’re napping
And sneak aboard their ship while they don’t know
And it’s my pleasure to find treasure you can’t measure
And Tip-toe away and soon I’m out of sight, so…

I’m Perry th’pirate of sea it’s true
I only see with one eye you have two
And when I sail the open seas I will do just as I please
I have come to get someone, it’s YOU!

Nelson

Nelson’s a boy with so many toys
He can’t count them all but to try is joy
But if he could have just one thing in this world
He wished to play outside with the boys and girls

The kids say… HEY NELSON! Come out and play
Come swing on the swing set and splash in the rain
But he afraid they’ll want his toys all away
And says “No I won’t!” and just watches the games

Nelson oh Nelson now you must chose
Friends or just toys, it’s up to you!

Now one day all the children got invited up the hill
To a party at Madame McClarenclaville’s
Oh what a surprise to both girls and the boys
Saw ol’ Nelson come down with an armful of toys

The kids say… HEY NELSON! Don’t worry it’s okay
We’re just glad you’re here and come join us and play
When we get up this hill oh the games we can’t wait!
We’ll slide down the slides and eat heaps of cake!

Nelson oh Nelson no you must chose
Friends or just toys, it’s up to you!

Now the hills was steep, those toys weren’t small
His little arms got tired, he couldn’t carry them all
So one-by-one they started to fall
And they rolled down hill like a ball!

Now Nelson’s a boy without even one toy
But I must admit I’ve never seen a happier boy
They slide down the slides and played until late
And then rolled down the hill home with a face full of cake!

The kids say HEY NELSON! What a dilly of a day
We splashed in the pool and we wriggled in the rain
What’s that you say Nelson, same time same place?!
I never love a toy more than goofing with the girls & the boys

Pajama Parade

Pajama parade! Pajama parade!
We’re all calming down in the bed that Mom made
Pajama parade! Pajama parade!
Did someone put some sugar in kid’s lemonade?

“But I don’t feel like going to bed!” you say
I really sorry to hear that you feel that way
Because It’s Time For…

Pajama Parade! Pajama Parade
Tippy toeing past the toys I said I’d put away
Pajama Parade! Pajama Parade
My Dad’s so tired he fell asleep in his Bolognese!

Negotiations failed no way out to be found
I’d call out to my Dad but he’s asleep on the lounge,
Spilled his drink on the lounge,
And Mom’s kind of cranky cause nothing can be found

Alright everybody you wanna to learn the PJ dance?
It involves your nostrils, you hips and even your hands
When their ready and the lights are down low
They point the bed and say it’s time to go
I do this thing where I hug the door
Say “I’m not tired” and then I fall to the floor
By that time they picked me up and tucked me right in and
I go wiggle wiggle wiggle & I give it spin when they close th’door
Cuz I wanna stay up just that little bit more

It is a bit comfy in here, how did I get in my pajamas?
My eyelids are kind of heavy
I wouldn’t mind a bit of a cuddle

Parades in pajamas just carry me to my bed
I’ve-tortured-my-sister-brother-mama, I really did my best
But now it’s time to close these eyes I’ve fought it long as I can
But when you think I’m sleeping I’m hatching a masterplan

Pajama parade! Pajama parade!
I’m just too tired to sneak out of the bed that mom made
(Jumping outta the bed that Mom’ll soon make)
Pajama parade! Pajama parade!
Where’d all these sheep come from, why’re they running away?
I’m brushed my teeth, I’ve had a good cry
It’s been real folks but-it’s-time-to say Good Night

Mountain Called Change

There was a family of bears who lived in a tent
Up High on a mountain with their only son Ben
They never built a home or stayed in one place
For they knew they lived on a Mountain called Change!

Mountain called Change, Mountain called Change
High-o-high on a mountain called change
One thing’s for sure things don’t stay the same
High-o-high on a mountain called change

They had quite a view from their tent up on high
But all those down below on “the ground” wondered “Why…
Won’t ya come down and quit acting so strange?!”
They came to call home a Mountain called Change!

CHORUS

Then one day the bears woke to a loud mighty rumble!
But to Ben’s Mom and Dad this was nothing that new
The Mountain called Change was starting to crumble!
Just meant soon there’d be room for two
And that Ben would have to move

But by then Ben was big he was no longer small
So he choose to roll with it instead of to fall
For he’d listened and learned when his parents would say…
That’s how you survive on this Mountain called Change

CHORUS

So he rolled and he tumbled and he bounced down the hill
He got some bumps and bruises and got stuck real still
He didn’t know what to do and that made him a scared inside
Can you understand why he sat there & cried?

But then he thought for a minute about all that he’d done
“If I climbed hills before, well why not this one?”
I’m a big bear now and I’ve got to find my own way
Make myself a home on this mountain called change

CHORUS

So he twisted and he turned and he got one hand free
And he kicked and he pulled and got his legs too you see
He was off and running clawing his way
There’s more than one way to climb the mtn called change

CHORUS

Then peaking over the hill well just guess what he saw?!
A perfect place to pitch his own tent and stay
He even saw paw prints that led into the trees
Umm my names Ben may I ask yours please? …
Why sure Ben the name is Eloise

So now they roll together and boy how they soar!
Once they’d found one surprise oh boy! They wanted more!
Now they climb, fall, and tumble and laugh at the way
Everyday is different on the Mountain called Change!

“I would have missed so much if I had stayed in one place”
“Oh the lessons I’ve learned on this Mountain called Change!”

Buster Brownbird

High in the tree by the big ol’ pond lived a hungry baby bird Buster Brown
He’s staring right down at Mrs Worm sitting on a leaf, who was saying
“I know what yer thinking when yer looking at me”
But your best get looking for some seed
I got news Buster Brown, you won’t make a meal outta me”

Buster Brown just laughed and he sang a little song
Saying “Don’t be so sure Mr Worm
cuz in my mouth is where you do belong”
And Buster’d sing “do-d-do-do do-d’-do…”

High in the sky was the big ol’s un & it shined right down on the leaf
So Mr Worm took a turn and thought he might have a little sleep
Looking up, looking down, looking all around
Buster Brown was nowhere to be found
But little did she know Buster Brown don’t sleep til he eats

Buster Brown just laughed and sang a little song
Saying “Don’t be so sure Mr Worm
Cuz in my mouth is where you do belong!”
And Buster’d sing “do-d-do-do do-d’-do…”

So high in the sky Buster Brown swooped down
From his big ol’branch in the tree
Mr Worm you’re gonna learn not to tempt Buster Browns big beak
But little did he know waitin’ down below
Manny the cat was at the bottom of the tree
And soon as he saw him Buster Brown changed his mind quickly

The cat just laughed
Stretched out and then he yawned
Saying don’t you worry Buster Brown
Cuz in my mouth is where you do belong!

Awful Wide

Tonight we say goodbye to friends
It may be goodbye but it’s not the end
When you care for others you can change their lives
So know this before you go
There’s as much ahead as there is behind
There’s as much ahead as there is behind

When you leave a place you’ve known
You can leave a gap behind
You’re not there to see it though so take it from me
It’s awful tall and it’s awful wide

He had a shoulder you could cry upon
She had a smile big as the sun
They’re round to help, not to judge,
Just because they care
How many people can you say that of?

Tonight we bid them adieu
But it’s not a last goodbye
We know we’ll be seeing you and…
There’s as much ahead as there is behind
